HOUSTON Investigators still don t know if anyone was home when a fire broke out in northeast Houston in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Just after 1:30 a.m., firefighters were called to a house on Madera near Thorn Street and made a quick attack on the fire.
They say flames were shooting several feet in the air when they arrived.
Officials say they didn t find anyone at the home, but it looks like someone lives there. Search dogs were called in to check the rubble.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
