HOUSTON -- A big rig crash led to a hazmat spill on 290 early Friday.

All outbound mainlanes were shut down for several hours at Jones Road.

Witnesses said two trucks collided when traffic came to a stop because of another crash. One of the trucks reportedly leaked CO2 as a result.

Crews worked to clear some of the wreckage, and the freeway was partially reopened before noon.

There were no serious injuries reported.
