HOUSTON -- An 18-wheeler flipped on Interstate 10 near the Interstate 45 split in downtown Houston early Thursday.
Officials believe the truck's load shifted in a curve, causing it to flip around 2 a.m. It wasn't until 7:30 a.m. the crash was finally out of the way.
Crews worked to upright the truck and pick up its lost load of large paper rolls. Officials said 44,000 pounds of paper spilled onto the roadway. A fork lift was brought in to move the huge rolls onto another truck.
Houston police said the driver did not have a valid license. He'll face a ticket for that as well as 'failure to maintain a lane.'
No injuries were reported, and no other vehicles were involved in the crash.
