GALVESTON An ambulance struck a bicyclist riding along the Seawall Sunday night, according to Galveston police.
The 15-year-old cyclist was heading eastbound in the westbound lane around 10:30 p.m.
The Galveston EMS ambulance was traveling westbound when it struck the cyclist in the 9500 block of Seawall Boulevard.
The ambulance driver may not have seen the bicycle because it didn t have any lights, according to police.
The teen was taken to UTMB-Galveston with multiple fractures and contusions.
