PARKERCOUNTY, Texas -- A former Fort Worth firefighter has been arrested and charged with child sex abuse.

Richard Frederick Adams, 62, was arrested Monday, according to our content partners at the FortWorthStar-Telegram. He was most recently working for the HudsonOaks Fire Department.

Earlier this month, the Parker County Sheriff'sOffice was alerted to the case by the victims, who are two young relatives of Adams.

According to a search warrant, the children say he molested them on different occasions in the two Weatherford homes he owned, as well as in his vehicle.

One of the girls told police that Adams made her watch pornographic videos and then forced her to perform sex acts. The girl also said Adams would sometimes tape her feet and hands together, or tape her to a mattress inside one of his homes.

A search warrant was issued by the Parker County Sheriff's Office this week. Deputies retrieved the mattress, pornographic DVD's and tapes, towels said to have been used byAdams, duct tape, computers, phones, and other data storage devices.

The Star-Telegram reports that Adams is currently booked in the Parker County Jail with a bail of $150,000.

Adams retired from the Fort WorthFire Department in 2009.
