HOUSTON -- A judge has given developers the go-ahead to build the Ashby high-rise, a controversial 21-story tower planned for Bissonnet.

A jury ruled the tower would be a nuisance and ordered the developer to pay neighbors damages.

The judge delayed payment of those damages on Thursday, and refused to issue a permanent injunction that would have kept the tower from being built.
