HOUSTON Two men have been arrested and charged with aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon at a pawn shop in north Harris County, Harris County Sheriff s Office deputies said.

Now investigators are seeking information on five other suspects.

Leonard Patrick and Delmond Broussard, along with at least five other masked people, entered the Top Dollar Pawn located at 3500 block of Little York around 2 p.m. Monday, deputies said. They ordered customers and employees to lie on the floor, and then smashed the glass display cases containing watches, rings and bracelets, deputies said.

Two of the robbers led the manager at gunpoint to the store safe where he was ordered to open it and empty the contents and the customers were also robbed of their wallets and cash, investigators said.

The suspects then fled in two different vehicles, a black Dodge Charger and a silver colored Dodge 300 sedan. Deputies responding to the scene spotted the black Charger occupied by Patrick and Broussard and a third unidentified male fleeing south along Imperial Valley and Benmar Road.

HCSO deputies and Houston Police Department officers followed the vehicle until it crashed at Benmar Road and City View Place Street, where the suspects fled into a wooded field alongside of an apartment complex. Deputies immediately took Patrick and Broussard into custody, but the other man fled into the woods.

Deputies said they recovered several weapons from the vehicle that crashed, including handguns and an assault rifle, along with the stolen jewelry and cash.

Anyone with more information is asked to call Crime Stoppers of Houston at 713-222-TIPS.
