PEARLAND, Texas -- A fire broke out at a NAPA auto parts store south of Houston late Sunday.

It was reported in Pearland on Broadway Street near Hatfield Road, according to the Pearland Fire Department.

The first firefighters on the scene found heavy smoke and fire coming from the metal structure. Backup firefighters were called in from Houston, League City, and Friendswood. A hazmat team from Harris County also responded.

In all, about 70 to 80 firefighters were called in.

No injuries were reported.

The back of the building appeared to be heavily damaged with some damage to the merchandise.

A cause for the blaze was still under investigation.
