GALVESTON Police arrested a man accused of speeding into Galveston with seven improperly secured children, including a boy in a car seat in the bed of the pickup, authorities said Monday.

Aaron Rincon, 30, of Houston remained jailed Monday on a $30,000 bond on a felony charge of child endangerment, according to Galveston police and jail records.

Someone called police shortly after 3 p.m. Sunday, reporting someone driving at speeds reaching 90 mph while crossing the Galveston Causeway, Galveston police Lt. Michael Gray said.
