HOUSTON -- A Houston Fire Department hazmat team was called to Bush Airport late Thursday after a tanker truck fell on its side and spilled jet fuel on the tarmac.

The accident happened around 10:15 p.m., according to the Houston Fire Department.

The truck s driver was sent to the hospital in stable condition.

It wasn t known how the accident occurred. Officials said the cleanup took several hours, but no flights were affected.
