HOUSTON-- A cool front blew through Sunday morning that should clear the rainy weather and clouds out of the area by the evening, said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Mario Gomez.

You ll notice temperatures in the 70s before noon and by the time the isolated showers move east in the afternoon, highs will bump up against the 80s for a fairly cool day.

Most of the rainfall on Saturday fell south of town, where areas got as much as three inches of rain. The 7-day forecast shows no further chance of rain until next Saturday. In the meantime, it should be clear skies and more fall-like conditions.
