HOUSTON--The wind is going to play a big role in the weekend weather but until then, summer isn t ready to let go of Houston yet, said KHOU 11 NewsMeteorlogist David Paul.

Thursday afternoon, there was little relief from the heat with the feels like temperature at 104 in Katy. Tomorrow will be more of the same, with a chance to break the record temperature of 98-degrees with a predicted high of 99.

During the day on Saturday, we ll begin to notice the wind coming in from the north and that will bring slightly cooler weather. Highs are only in the upper 80s for Sunday and Monday.
