HOUSTON The city of Houston has dropped one spot in a new cost-of-living survey by a human resources firm.

This year Houston is the eleventh costliest city in the country, but considering we are the fourth largest city that s not bad, according to Mercer Worldwide.

The survey is based on the cost of housing, transportation, food and clothing.

New York was ranked No. 1 on the list.
