HOUSTON Houston brothers seriously injured in a car accident in West Texas earlier this month will head to Chicago for treatment.

Peter Berry, 9, and Aaron, 8, are paralyzed from the waist down.

They are currently in Children s Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston and will be transferred to the Shriners Hospital for Children in Chicago.

They are expected to receive in-patient rehabilitation for pediatric spinal cord injuries for six to eight weeks.

Then, they will return to Texas.

Their parents, Joshua and Robin Perlo Berry were killed in the accident when a car veered into oncoming traffic on highway 285 in Fort Stockton and struck their minivan head-on.

The family was on a road trip and had just left New Mexico. They were headed to San Antonio. The boys sister, Willa Berry, 6, has minor injuries and is now living with family in Houston.
