HOUSTON -- A fire destroyed a mobile home in northeast Houston early Wednesday.

The Houston Fire Department was called to Charlesmont Street at Greenwich around 1 a.m.

Huge flames quickly damaged the home, but firefighters managed to get it under control to keep it from spreading.

No one was home at the time, and no injuries were reported.

Neighbors said they hadn t seen anyone at the residence in a week.
