TOMBALL, Texas - Authorities evacuated Tomball High School shortly before lunchtime Wednesday due to a bomb threat on campus.

Tomball ISD sent out a notice to parents that all students were relocated to a safe area outside the building.

Views from Air 11 showed hundreds of kids sitting on bleachers at the nearby track and field.

Police officers and K-9 units swept the school, authorities said. The campus was secured, and Tomball ISD is working with law enforcement to investigate the threat.

Students were allowed back inside the school around 12:15 p.m.
