AUSTN, Texas -- The Austin police bomb squad and hazmat crew responded to the Whole Women's Health clinic off I-35 in North Austin Wednesday morning.
KVUE news has learned the clinic staff discovered two manila envelopes taped to the doors.
Police said the envelopes were addressed to the clinic, and a label indicated they contained court documents. The label instructed that the envelopes be presented to a manager.
The staff called police, and police called justice of peace to see if the envelopes contained legitimate court papers. The justice of the peace said no papers were delivered to that address.
Austin police said the Whole Women's clinic in San Antoniohad the same scenario Wednesday morning. Staff there opened the envelope and found documents inside.
Austin police are still on scene investigating.
