TOKYO, Japan -- Many restaurant owners aim to keep dirt out of their dining rooms. But that's not the case for an establishment in Tokyo.

At Toshio Tanabe's place, dirt is on the menu.

Toshio says he has flavors of the ocean in his seafood, so he was looking to add flavors from the earth. The special soil is lab tested and heated to extreme temperatures so it's safe to eat. You can then top it all off with a scoop of dirt ice cream.

But the meal of dirt isn't dirt cheap. The special course will cost you about $110.
