HOUSTON We havenice chilly temperatures heading to the Houston area, but we ll be in the low-80 s until then, said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Chita Johnson.

Thursday will be sunny with just a few cloudsand an afternoon high in the low-80s.

Friday s forecast also calls for a warm and sunnyafternoon, but we ll start to see a few changes on Saturday.

Saturday will be mostly dry until the afternoon hours when we could start to see a few showers come in off the coast, said Johnson. Sunday night into Monday morning we ll be tracking our next front. This is what is going to increase our rain chances mainly for your overnight hours.

There s a 20-percent chance for rain on Saturday and 40-percent chance on Sunday.

Through the weekend temps will be in the 80s, but by Monday the afternoon high will drop into the low-60s.
