WEBSTER, Texas Authorities are asking for the public s help finding a man wanted for robbing a woman at gunpoint in Webster.

Police said on August 4 the victim parked her vehicle in a shopping plaza in the 900 block of E. Nasa Parkway around 12:40 p.m.

Authorities said when the victim got out of her vehicle, she was approached by an armed man, who demanded she give him her purse.

Police said the victim began screaming for help and the suspect fled the scene in a maroon SUV.

The suspect was described as a man in his early 20s with a medium build and short blond hair. He has full-sleeve tattoos on both arms and was wearing mirrored sunglasses, blue jeans and a white tank top.

Anyone with information on the case is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (713) 222-TIPS. A reward of up to $5,000 will be given for information leading to an arrest.
