Houston -- Texas Equusearch is now helping with the search of the 17-year-old that's been missing since Valentine's Day.

Antonio Saldivar, a junior at Houston Can Academy, told his mother he was bringing his girlfriend a teddy bear and watch on Feb. 14.

He said he'll be back before his curfew at 10, and never made it to her house, said Connie Netro, the missing teen's mother.

The days are only getting longer for the Saldivar family.

We're out here, I m going to be here. I m not going to stop till I find him, said Netro.

Saldivar borrowed his mother s car that night but never came home. The car was found smashed into a concrete beam early the next morning at the intersection of Navigation and Harrisburg. His mother says the loafers he was wearing were left in the car.

A wrecker driver told the family that the accident happened Saturday just before 4:30 a.m.

According to family members, police showed up around 4:50 a.m. to find an abandoned car.

We did receive some information that someone might have run him into the bridge concrete pillar. With that and other information we received, we're taking a much more serious consideration. We have great concern, said Frank Black with Texas Equusearch.

Volunteers combed through the woods and railroad tracks on Old Galveston Road. Family members wore purple, Saldivar's favorite color.

Horrible, I m distraught. Right now I can't even, I just want him back. That's it, said Netro.

I feel like today is the day. We're going to get a phone call. I'm waiting for the call. We found him, said Jessica Perales, the missing teen's sister.

So far, they haven t received any tips that have brought them closer to finding Antonio. At this point, family members say they are baffled as to where he could be.

Anyone who knows anything is asked to call HPD or the family at (713) 922-1752.
