HOUSTON Five of six people wanted in connection with the murder of a Sugar Land area man earlier this month are in custody, and now Fort Bend County Crime Stoppers is offering a reward for information leading to the arrest of the sixth suspect.
The crime happened Wednesday, Dec. 4, in the 14200 block of Bay Gardens Drive in the Townewest subdivision. A man conducting a welfare check found his 32-year-old brother Antonio Cesar Hinojosa dead inside the home around 9:20 a.m.
Family members said they had not seen Hinojosa since 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 1 when Hinojosa was with them to watch a football game.
Hinojosa s brother called the sheriff s office when he found the victim, whose house had been ransacked.
Demetrius Meach Levale Stalling, 22, of Houston, is the suspect being sought by the Fort Bend County Sheriff s Office. Already in custody are Martin Ferrel, 20, Cynthia Sandoval, 38, Shakur Briggs, 18, Robert McClure, 22, and a 14-year-old juvenile. They all live in Houston.
All four adult suspects remained in the Fort Bend County Jail Tuesday under $500,000 bonds on a charge of murder.
The sheriff s office did not release details about the homicide and said they are still gathering evidence in the case.
Information which leads to the apprehension and filing of charges on the Stalling could earn a reward of up to $5,000.
