THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- Balazs Csoke is hard at work.

His office is the highways, and the roads, and the pools, says friend Tim Floyd. The running tracks of The Woodlands.

It s kind of like your traditional nine-to-five with 35 to 40 hours a week, an early start, a late finish, and a lot of multitasking.

Balazs, 30, is a professional triathlete who will compete next month in the Ironman World Championship.

It s always a 2.4 mile swim, followed by 112 miles bike ride, and end with a full 26.2 marathon, says Balazs.

A native Hungarian by way of Switzerland, Balazas chooses to live and train in The Woodlands.

The conditions here in the woodlands is pretty similar to how it s going to be in Hawaii -- hot and humid.

He s currently ranked 32nd in a field of 800, and Balazs hopes to improve greatly on his standing. His goal is to place in the top 20 in Hawaii.

Balazs is already the unofficial ambassador of triathlons in The Woodlands.

Blazing a path from the woods, to the waterways, trails and soon -- another championship, he has lots of fans and neighbors looking on.

So how does he make money? His jersey is a walking billboard with big sponsors like Fiat and bike makers.
