HOUSTON The agent for veteran offensive tackle Tyson Clabo announced on Twitter today that his client has reached an agreement to join the Houston Texans.

ESPN is reporting the deal is for two years.

Clabo spent last season with the Miami Dolphins starting 15 games. Before that, he spent seven seasons with the Atlanta Falcons.

Clabo is expected to compete for the starting job with Derek Newton and will add overall depth to a unit. The team waived 2013 3rd round pick Brennan Williams on Monday.
