SAN MARCOS, Texas - Police say foul play is suspected in the disappearance of a 15-year-old San Marcos girl.
Cassidy Jae Castro was last seen in the 100 block of Autumn Cove in San Marcos around 3:45 a.m. Monday. Her parents last spoke with her less than an hour before that, according to investigators.
Police say Castro was using social media apps including Snapchat, Instagram and Twitter before she disappeared. Castro's cousin told police Castro had asked to be picked up in a Snapchat message around 2:30 a.m., and was told that someone was coming to get her. Castro's last contact with her friends occurred around 4:30 a.m. Monday.
Investigators say it is uncharacteristic of Castro to have left without contacting her family or friends. Police say she did not have a cell phone with her.
Police say Castro is 5'3 and weighs about 115 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes.
