SUGAR LAND, Texas -- Robbers pulled a knife on a woman in front of her Sugar Land home late Wednesday, police said.

Sugar Land Police Department Spokesman Doug Adolph said the incident occurred shortly after midnight in the 12300 block of Ashford Valley Drive.

The victim, a Houston business owner, said she just returned home when a car blocked her in her driveway. Two men got out and approached her vehicle, smashing a window and demanding her purse.

The victim said she refused, but one of the suspects pulled out a knife and threatened her. She then gave them her purse. The suspects fled, but the woman was not harmed.

Both men were wearing black clothing and masks, the woman told police. A vehicle description was not provided.
