HOUSTON The sunshine and clear skies should return my mid-Monday morning after an overnight cold front pushes therainy weather out of the area, KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Mario Gomez said.

The front will move through the city about midnight and out the western Gulf waters by morning.

The cold front is expected to bring down the temperatures to the low-40s and even the high-30s by Monday night for the area.

Highs for Monday should remain in the low-70s.
