HOUSTON - Police searched early Friday for a pickup driver who ran away after allegedly running a red light and slamming into a car at a southwest Houston intersection.
One person was injured.
The crash happened around midnight Thursday along the Southwest Freeway at W. Sam Houston Parkway.
Police said a gray Dodge pickup traveling southbound on the frontage road ran a red light and crashed into a silver Lexus CT. The driver of the pickup ran away.
An ambulance was called to the scene to transport the Lexus driver to the hospital. He suffered a broken leg and other minor injuries, police said.
