GALVESTON, Texas -- Air 11 was over Galveston early Monday as passengers returned from the Carnival Triumph's first cruise in months.

Back in February, an engine room fire created a nightmare for thousands of passengers. They were stranded for days without power or running water.

The company spent $115 million to remake and repair the ship, and this time around it looks like everything went smoothly.

Triumph is scheduled to leave again Monday afternoon for another sold-out cruise.

The Triumph s return to service is good news for Galveston. The city s port director estimates the economy lost as much as $700,000 in revenue while the ship was out of service.
