HOUSTON - A 38-year-old man was shot and killed in an apparent robbery early Saturday morning in southwest Houston, police said.

According to the Houston Police Department, the shooting happened in the 14000 block of South Post Oak at Trafalgar at about 2 a.m. when an unknown number of suspects approached the victim and shot him once. The suspects took the man s belongings and fled.

The man s wife found him after she went looking for him. The victim died on the scene, HPD Detective Mike Miller said.
