HOUSTON Houston police are searching forseveral suspects who robbed and shot a convenience store clerk in north Houston late Tuesday.

Police said two orthree armed suspects wearing ski masks entered the store in the 1700 block of Berry at Burden around 10:30 p.m.

They pulled a gun on the clerk and shot him once in the leg. The suspects then took the cash register and fled on foot, according to police.

HPD set up a perimeter and searched the area with K-9 units, but the suspects could not be located.

The injured clerk was transported to Ben Taub Hospital in stable condition.
