HOUSTON -- A small colorful tree is driving sightseers to Eleanor Tinsley Park.

It's a crape myrtle with white, red and purple flowers.

The tree includes a kaleidoscope of colors because several trees were grafted together, which is a very difficult process.

A similar tree is growing in Tranquility Park across from Houston City Hall.
