HOUSTON - Big flames shot from a vacant home in southeast Houston overnight.

Firefighters were called to Harwell Drive near Marlo Drive around 2:30 a.m. Thursday.

The first units on the scene found heavy flames shooting from the roof, which eventually collapsed into the home. Firefighters kept the flames from spreading to nearby properties, but the home was destroyed.
