HOUSTON Authorities investigating a home invasion in which the thieves posed as cops are hoping surveillance video helps lead to an arrest.

It happened at a home located in the 13700 block of River Keg Drive on March 26.

Juana Perez told police she had just returned to the home after dropping her older children off at school when two men confronted her, flashed badges and said they had to search the home.

They forced her inside where they tied up Perez and her husband.

For four hours, the robbers repeatedly demanded cash and when the husband told them he didn t have any money, they roughed him up, investigators said.

The two men are seen on tape rummaging through the living room of the home.

Perez said they have been robbed before.

I am afraid. I m nervous with fear because I think they ll come back, Perez said in Spanish.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers of Houston at 713-222-TIPS.
