NEW ORLEANS Texas Equusearch has suspended their end of the search for a school teacher who went missing after a night out on the town in New Orleans.

Terrilyn Monette, 26, went to a bar to celebrate after being nominated for Teacher of the Year on March 2.

Monette allegedly went outside the bar to lie down in her car because she had been drinking and that is the last time her friends saw her. Loved ones began a frantic search to find the talented young woman.

Texas Equusearch used sonar equipment to probe Bayou St. John murky bottom for Monette and her car, but there was no sign of anything. They also searched City Park s ponds and lagoons, but after coming up short, decided to pull out.

Texas Equusearch founder Tim Miller says he is frustrated that they can t track her down. Miller says they will return when more clues surface.
