SAN ANTONIO-- They survived the killing fields of battle, but returned home with post-traumatic stress disorder.

But instead of traditional therapy, they've turned to a violent, and often bloody, sport: mixed martial arts. While some might think it is counter-intuitive to expose vets to even more violence, others say exposing individuals to violence in a safe, controlled environment can actually promote healing.
