HOUSTON -- A fleeing murder suspect was arrested Tuesday after SWAT was called to a house in southwest Houston.

It happened as the Houston Police Department attempted to serve a murder warrant in the 6200 block of Cypress near Bissonnet.

The man wouldn't come out so SWAT was called.Hee came out before they arrived and tried to get away, police said.

Theysaid the manattempted to jump a fence and officers used a Taser and K-9 assistance to take the man into custody.

The suspect was transported to a nearby hospital with minor wounds and bite marks.

The man s name has not been released.
