Stratford posted fliers all over the area. She also issued a public plea on KHOU and offered a $2,000 reward for her dog.

A man contacted Stratford shortly after the story aired on Monday s 10 p.m. news. He claimed to have found Spencer wandering near Midtown.

Stratford rushed to meet the man and reclaim her dog. She handed over the financial reward despite being skeptical about the man s story.
