HOUSTON The Houston Police Department has released a suspect sketch of a man who allegedly touched a little girl at Space Center Houston.

The incident happened the afternoon of Nov. 16, 2013 in the 1600 block of NASA Parkway.

There s people everywhere adults, children everybody in between so it s bold and I guess very alarming for him not to have any fear of being caught while surrounded by people, said E. Hanson with the HPD juvenile division.

The six-year-old victim told police she was in the Angry Birds play area when she was approached by a man. He knelt next to her and touched her inappropriately.

Police want to find him before he strikes again.

It s very important because what he did, I m sure he s done in the past and will do again, Hanson said.

Police described the suspect as a clean-shaven white male with a slight belly and sandy blond or light brown hair. The man had a male toddler with him.

You never know who s safe and who s not safe, said Kerry Gibson, a parent visiting the Space Center. You have to just do what you can to protect your family.

There s a lot of sick people, men and women, so you have to watch everybody and be skeptical and tell your children to not be friendly, agreed Caroline Holmes, another parent.

Anyone with information in this case is urged to contact the HPD Juvenile Division at 713-731-5335 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
