HOUSTON -- Burglars broke into a Walgreens in northwest Houston early Friday to steal cigarettes, police said.

It's the second incident like it this week on the northwest side.

Police said around 4 a.m. an alarm company called the Houston Police Department to report the break-in on Hammerly Boulevard at Blalock Road.

Video surveillance showed two suspects pop the front door's lock and enter the store. They stole thousands of dollars worth of cigarettes and fled the scene before officers arrived.
