HUMBLE - It s not east to build a program from the ground up and Summer Creek QB Aaron Sharp knows what it takes to get it done.

The Bulldogs have been around for only 4 years, and for each one of them, Sharp has played a big part. He and his teammates have gone from 3-7 year one, to 4A state title contender in 2013.

He is a team first guy, but what he s done this year alone can t be overstated. He s thrown for 971 yards and 12 TD s through a perfect 5 games, but this season has been all about becoming a better leader than racking up the stats.

Aaron is headed to Kansas State next season, a distant thought right now, as he continues to get better with one goal in mind.

KHOU 11 Sports reporter Daniel Gotera caught up with Sharp.
