HOUSTON Hundreds of people were evacuated from a southwest Houston office building Monday morning when a firesent smoke throughout the building.

It started around 10 a.m. in the 2400 block of Fountainview.

The Houston Fire Department didn t take any chances since the building is a high-rise. They pulled a second alarm and more than 100 firefighters responded to the call.

My manager came and told us to leave, said Tracy Hader, who works at a law firm. They said there were reports of smoke.

The small fire was contained within a break room on the 8th floor.

Nobody was hurt.
