HOUSTON Some storms are still lingering after heavy rainfall in northern counties early Sunday, said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Mario Gomez.

A new line of storms is moving over the area, headed into town around 7 p.m. and hovering around the bay area around midnight before clearing out around 5 a.m.

A front moving into Houston might just mean that you can open your windows overnight. We ll see a bit of a warm up starting Monday, with temperatures in the mid-80s, but there s also less humidity on the way.

The rain returns with scattered showers popping up on Wednesday and Thursday as another weak front moves into the city.
