KEMAH, Texas A marine rescue crew from Kemah pulled four people from a sinking fishing boat on Saturday.
About 11 a.m. , a distress call came in saying a boat had lost power and was taking on water, Kemah fire Chief Brent Hahn said.
If our guys hadn t gotten them, they would have been swimming, the chief said. They were taking on significant water.
The vessel, a 17-foot bass boat, was about one mile out and was drifting toward shore, Hahn said.
