Tuesday s forecast high temperature is 95 degrees, and there is a 20-percent chance for rain.

Isaac will most likely make landfall to the east of Texas, sending anorth wind with low humidityinto the Houston area.

As of 1 a.m. Tuesday Isaac was still a tropical storm with max winds at 70 mph, moving northwest at 12 mph. The storm will approach the extreme southeast coast of Louisiana late Tuesday night, and then approach New Orleans by daybreak Wednesday. A major flood event is expected from New Orleans to Gulfport with the combination of storm surge and torrential rain.
