HOUSTON Houston Rockets point guard Patrick Beverley was named to the NBA All-Defensive second team on Tuesday.

Beverley, who received 44 first team votes and 24 second team votes, started for the Rockets the majority of the season and averaged 1.3 steals per game.

Joining Beverley on the 2nd team were Miami F LeBron James, Chicago G Jimmy Butler, San Antonio F Kawhi Leonard and Indiana C Roy Hibbert.

His teammates, Dwight Howard and James Harden also received votes.
