HOUSTON -- Some students at Rice University say they have designed a putter that can help golfers make the shot every time.

The engineering students have dubbed it the Jedi Putter.

According to the students, the golfer will know if their swing isn't straight because the handle will vibrate afterwards. The putter can also send data to a golfer's phone or computer so they can analyze their stroke.

The students have finished a prototype and are now filing for patents.
