FORT BEND COUNTY, Texas -- Fort Bend County Crimes Stoppers will pay a cash reward for information leading to the arrest of a known suspect involved in bilking an elderly man she was supposed to be helping.

Joycelyn Dearmon, 41, was arrested by the Fort Bend County Sheriff s Office in November 2013 on a charge of theft and for theft by check. She bailed out of the Fort Bend County Jail the next day.

She had been hired to be the caretaker of a 90-year-old man.

Family members of the victim have since hired an accountant to review all of the victim s accounts. They found that Dearmon had accessed another account and stole additional funds.

Detectives also are seeking any other people who may have been victimized by Dearmon. If so, contact Detective Chris Matthews at 281-341-3864.

Information which leads to the arrest of Dearmon could earn a reward of up to $5,000.
