AUSTIN-- A new University of Texas and Texas Tribune poll shows the race for Texas governor is getting tighter.

Republican candidate Attorney General Greg Abbott has 40 percent of the people polled supporting him. Democratic State Senator Wendy Davis has 35 percent. Libertarian candidate Kathie Glass has five percent.

Twenty percent of those surveyed were undecided.
