HOUSTON -- The World Affairs Council of Houston (WACH) and the Houston International Festival are working together to continue educating and enlightening Houston-area youth about the issues and impacts of the world and encourage lifelong learning.

On Friday, April 26, 500 hundred Houston-area sixth graders will become citizens of the world by attending the annual WACH World Cultures Summit.

As the Houston iFest celebrates Brazil, this year s summit will highlight South America.

Event organizers say the World Cultures Summit will include an interactive Around the World in 60 Minutes scavenger hunt. The event will end with a visit to the festival s Chevron Brazil Living Museum, featuring a variety of interactive cultural exhibits and activities showcasing Brazilian art, history and culture.
